Yay! You’re Booked!

This is me!

I’m so excited for your upcoming newborn session 🤍

These sessions are calm, slow-paced, and fully baby-led, with plenty of time built in for feeding, soothing, and snuggles.

Here’s everything you need to know to feel prepared and relaxed:

  • I will bring everything needed for the session to your home. If you can, please try to create a bit of open space for the set up. I have a large light so it doesn't need to be by a window for the posed newborn photos. It will take me approximately 15-20 minutes to set everything up and then I will start posing your baby.

Even if your baby doesn't take a soother, it is sometimes handy to settle a fussy newborn during a session, so please keep one nearby.

Try to keep baby relaxed but awake and stimulated at least an hour before the session. (Baths work great!) And then, give your little one a big feed before I arrive, or while I am setting up, so when it's time to start they are nice and sleepy.

  • For parents:

    • Stick to neutral tones and soft, simple clothing

    • Avoid logos, bold patterns, and bright colours

    • Flowy dresses, knits, and soft textures photograph beautifully

    • Keep it comfortable and something you feel good in

    For siblings:

    • Keep outfits simple and coordinated with the overall palette

    • Avoid graphics or characters on clothing

I have wraps, blankets, and simple props for baby.

If you’d like help with outfits, feel free to send me options!

  • Newborn sessions typically last 2–3 hours to allow plenty of time for feeding, settling, and breaks.

The session is completely guided by your baby’s needs—there is no rush.

    We’ll capture a mix of:

    • Baby alone (wrapped + natural poses)

    • Parent + baby moments

    • Sibling + family images (if applicable)

I bring a space heater and sound machine to keep baby soothed and comfortable.

Feel free to relax nearby while I pose and capture your little one.

Due to the session workflow, I do family shots at the end of the session. If you have a toddler, I recommend taking them to another area of the house while I photograph your newborn.

If possible, I prefer to do family shots near a nice big window either in the nursery, master bedroom or living room.

  • LOL! None.

Every baby and child is unique, and your session will always be approached with patience, flexibility, and care. I’m a Mom too so I understand.🤍

    For babies:
Sessions are completely baby-led, meaning we move at your baby’s pace at all times.

    • Some babies settle easily, while others need extra time and comfort—and both are completely normal

    • I will gently guide positioning, but baby’s comfort and safety are always the top priority

    For sibling and family photos:

With young children, cooperation can vary—and that’s completely okay.

    • It’s very normal for children to need time to warm up, especially with a new person pointing a camera at them.

    • I’ll guide positioning while keeping things light and flexible

    • The “perfect” posed photo isn’t always realistic with little ones, and that’s not the goal

Instead, I focus on capturing genuine connection and those in-between, meaningful moments that often become the most treasured images.

  • If you’re comfortable with it, I will share a couple sneaks peeks on my instagram page.

You’ll receive your gallery within 3 weeks via email.

If you have any questions at all before your session, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

I’m here to make this an easy and enjoyable experience for you and your little ones.

Can’t wait to see you!
