Parking:
Feel free to park on my driveway or on the street in front. There should be lots of room.

• Make sure everyone is fed and well-rested

• Arrive fully ready (dressed, hair done, etc.)

• Keep the mood light and positive before arriving

• Let kids know it will be quick and fun

For little ones, bringing a small, clean snack is always a good idea.

The goal is to coordinate, not match.

• Choose a soft, cohesive colour palette (neutrals, earthy tones, pastels)

• Avoid logos, bright neon colours, and busy patterns

• Mix textures (knits, linen, denim) for visual interest

• Lay outfits out together beforehand to see how they flow

Family studio sessions are approximately 30 minutes and move at a steady, easy pace.

We’ll capture a mix of:

• Full family portraits

• Parent + child combinations

• Sibling moments

• Individual child portraits

• Natural, candid interactions

I’ll guide you the entire time so you don’t have to worry about posing—just focus on being together.

Every child is different—and that’s completely okay 🤍

I am a Mom myself so I understand the frustrations of getting your children ready and wanting the best images possible. I never expect “perfect” behaviour. My goal is to capture genuine expressions and moments.

That said, a few helpful things to keep in mind:

• Children may need time to warm up, and that’s built into the session

• Cooperation can vary, especially with younger kids

• Sometimes the best images come from in-between moments rather than posed ones

For parents:

• Trust the process and avoid directing the kids

• Stay engaged, playful, and connected

• Your energy sets the tone for your children
