Yay! You’re Booked!

This is me!

I’m so excited for your upcoming session 🤍

To help everything run smoothly and feel relaxed, I’ve put together a quick guide so you know exactly what to expect and how to prepare.

  • 2203 8th Street NE, Calgary, T2E4H5 (My Home Studio)

    Parking:
Feel free to park on my driveway or on the street in front. There should be lots of room.

    • Make sure your child is well-rested and has eaten beforehand

    • Bring a small, mess-free snack if needed

    • You may also bring their favourite toy or stuffed animal

    • Avoid scheduling right during nap time if possible

    • Talk positively about the session (“We’re going to have fun and play!”)

  • I always love a classic plain white or black t-shirt for these sessions to really keep the focus on your little one. I also find something low maintenance is nice as some outfits can bunch in weird ways or we spend a lot of time straightening them out for the photos. However, they are your photos and you can obviously dress your children in what you prefer. I do recommend:

    • Stick to neutral tones, soft colours, and simple patterns

    • Avoid logos, bright neon colours, or busy prints

    • Keep outfits comfortable and true to your child’s personality

    • Barefoot is perfect for most sessions

If you’re unsure, feel free to send me outfit options ahead of time!

  • Children’s sessions are designed to feel fun, relaxed, and low-pressure. I’ll gently guide your child through the session while also allowing space for their personality to shine.

Sessions typically last about 15 minutes per child, but I always allow flexibility depending on how your child is feeling.

    We’ll capture a mix of:

    • Natural, candid moments

    • Lightly guided portraits

    • Individual photos

    • Sibling photos (if applicable)

  • LOL! None.

Every child is different—and that’s completely okay 🤍

I am a Mom myself so I understand the frustrations of getting your children ready and wanting the best images possible. I never expect “perfect” behaviour. My goal is to capture genuine expressions and moments.

That said, a few helpful things to keep in mind:

    • Children may need time to warm up, and that’s built into the session

    • Cooperation can vary, especially with younger kids

    • For sibling photos, I’ll guide positioning but flexibility is key

    • Sometimes the best images come from in-between moments rather than posed ones

Your role is simply to stay relaxed and trust the process—kids pick up on your energy!

  • If you’re comfortable with it, I will share a couple sneaks peeks on my instagram page.

You’ll receive your gallery within 2 weeks via email.

If you have any questions at all before your session, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Can’t wait to see you!
